A helmet is primarily worn to keep you safe, but it also provides a little warmth. However, have you ever taken a good look at those vents? Sure, they're great to keep your head cool in the summer, but they keep your head a little too cool in winter!
Wearing a warm hat during winter is great, both on and off the the bike. It's important to consider the thickness of the hat, and whether it covers your ears. It's easy to underestimate the cooling effect of the wind on your ears!
