01\/05\/2026 Gisburn Forest<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Keeping it local for ride number one, We will be meeting at Gisburn Forest main car park for 18:30, lights will be advisable just in case! Clocks will have gone forward so hopefully not needed.<\/p>\n\n\n

The OYB Weekly Rides Are Back for 2026!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re thrilled to announce that the OYB weekly rides are returning for 2026! We\u2019re back and more excited than ever to get back on the trails. While last year presented a number of obstacles that made organizing rides difficult, we\u2019ve worked hard to ensure that this season is packed with exciting opportunities for you to join us. With rides scheduled throughout the entire spring and summer, there\u2019s plenty to look forward to!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stay Connected & Join the Community<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To keep up to date with our upcoming rides, be sure to check out our blog posts or follow us on Facebook, Instagram or Strava. We also have a dedicated Facebook group linked below where you can connect with fellow riders, introduce yourself, and ask any questions before you join a ride. Our community is filled with friendly, welcoming people, so we encourage you to jump in and get involved!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Details about each ride including the meeting location and time will be shared the Thursday prior to the ride, so keep an eye out for updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safety First!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As always, safety is our top priority. We cannot stress enough how important it is to wear a helmet for every ride. Additionally, knee and elbow protection are highly recommended to ensure a safe experience for all participants. During the beginning and end of the season, when daylight is limited, you may also need lights, as some rides can extend into the evening, especially if mechanical issues or punctures cause delays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, we\u2019re excited to carry over the perk for our regular weekly ride participants: a 10% discount at all On Yer Bike Cycles shops<\/strong> throughout the 2026 season! This discount is available to anyone who attends our weekly rides consistently, and for those who have been with us over the past three years, you\u2019ll automatically receive this benefit. Ask one of the members of staff when on the next ride for the discount code!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Post-Ride Celebration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And of course, most of our rides end at a local pub, where we can unwind and enjoy a well-deserved drink together. \ud83c\udf7b Whether you\u2019re a long-time rider or a newcomer, it\u2019s a great chance to relax and bond with the community after a great ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
